Our Story.

Our founder, Alan Glazar, joined the Marine Corps at 17. Wounded in Vietnam, the Marine Corps retrained him in heating and cooling, where he spent the rest of his service working on inspections, repairs, and maintenance. It wasn't his passion, but it gave him hands-on mechanical experience that would stay with him.

After leaving the military, Alan took a job as a janitor for a cleaning supply distributor. It wasn't long before his role grew, from sweeping floors to making coffee, handling invoices, and tracking the day's profits. Then one day, the owner pulled him aside and said, "Kid, I want you to go out and sell."

That was the moment everything changed. Alan had found his calling — and he was great at it. The competition took notice. He was recruited away and, over time, worked his way up through sales manager, purchasing manager, and general manager, eventually becoming the owner's right-hand man and helping run the company day to day.

In 1982, Alan took everything he'd learned and founded Action Paper & Chemical Co. built on the mindset of a salesman who knew his customers and stood behind his work with a simple promise: 100% Customer satisfACTION.

As the years went on and the product line grew, a new name made sense. Today, as Action Unlimited Resources, we're still family-owned and operated and we still approach every customer with the same sense of urgency Alan brought to that very first sale.
